Saha steamed or grilled seafood known for braised monkfish(small)
A long-standing fresh monkfish braise house in the alley between Exits 2 and 4 of Daeti Station. Parking is the wide dedicated lot across from the door.
The small braised monkfish is KRW 28,000, potato noodles KRW 1,000, and a half jug of dongdongju KRW 3,000. Mulgong is the Gyeongsang word for monkfish, and domestic fresh monkfish is steamed spicy with water dropwort and bean sprouts.
Braised monkfish, braised cod head, and braised half-dried pollack sit alongside each other, and portions run generous. Mixing the potato noodles into the sauce or adding dongdongju brings out more of the old-house feel.
There is seating on the first and second floors plus a private floor-seating room, which fits a meal with parents, a family dinner, or a gathering in Saha-gu. It stays busy well after lunch, so a weekend family table is easier slightly off the peak.
