Nam-gu Japanese seafood course dining
A seafood hot pot specialist in a Jinnam-ro alley in Nam-gu, open since 1959. Parking is available, which makes it a workable choice for a family meal or a meal with parents by car.
The small royal seafood hot pot is KRW 35,000, the premium mulhoe KRW 20,000, and the five-person A course KRW 145,000. The hot pot carries plenty of fish innards and shellfish, so the broth is deep and grows more savoury the longer it simmers.
The hot pot alone is enough for a meal, and a larger group can widen it into the course. There is also mulhoe on the board, which makes it easier to include someone who finds a hot pot too heavy on a warm day.
The house leans on its long history, but the menu is broad enough to suit a clear purpose, not a passing tourist meal. It fits a hot pot table with parents, or a late-morning soup around Nam-gu.
