About

A long-standing spicy stir-fried octopus house near Exit 10 of Beomil Station. There is no dedicated car park, and most visitors mention the public parking on the goldsmith street right in front.

Octopus with rice, octopus and shrimp, octopus with intestines, and nakgopsae are each around KRW 11,000. Octopus, shrimp and intestines are stir-fried with garlic, sesame oil and chili powder, but it lands closer to the clean Jobang style than to the fierce heat of the Mugyo-dong version.

It is also counted as the original nakgopsae house, and staff manage the cooking at the table so a first visit is easy. Choose the octopus and shrimp if intestines are too much, or the full nakgopsae for the nutty version.

This suits a craving for old Busan-style stir-fried octopus around Beomil-dong. The room draws older regulars, which makes it comfortable for a meal with parents, and it reads better as a bowl mixed into rice than as a hot-food challenge.
