Small Suyeong drinking kitchen worth booking for uni yukhoe, kani-miso noodles, and raw beef
A small drinking kitchen near the entrance to Suyeong Paldo Market, walkable from Suyeong Station Exit 3. There is no dedicated parking, so use nearby public parking or the old private lot nearby when driving. Recent reviews describe phone booking for arrivals between 18:00 and 19:00, then walk-in waiting after 19:00. A weekday 19:00 visit may clear quickly, but weekend evenings need extra patience.
The main draw is the raw-beef line: uni yukhoe, truffle konowata yukhoe, and raw beef sashimi. Uni, salmon roe, caviar, konowata, gamtae, or grilled seaweed turn the beef into a more seafood-driven drinking plate. The opening banchan is light, with potato salad topped with bacon powder and cabbage salad, so the table can start drinking while waiting for cooked dishes.
Kani-miso noodles, KRW 18,000, are the other fixed order: red snow crab innards, egg noodles, clam broth, gamtae, onion chips, and seafood make the bowl rich without relying only on salt. Bullet squid beurre blanc, KRW 18,000, brings butter-grilled squid, potatoes, peas, nuts, and a French-style sauce. LAMB mapo tofu, KRW 18,000, is a warm finishing plate with lamb, Sichuan pepper, and chili oil. Food is cooked to order, so pacing can be slower.
The retro wood exterior and soft lighting make it a photogenic mood bar, but the room is very compact: mostly open-kitchen counter seating and very limited four-person table seating. First orders start from KRW 25,000 excluding alcohol, and if people are waiting, dining can be limited to 2.5 hours. Takeout, delivery, and paid corkage are listed. It works best for dates, solo drinks, and two- or three-person drinks where mood and plating matter as much as volume.
