Seomyeon-Jeonpo sujebi and kalguksu with surf-clam broth and lots of chives
A sujebi and kalguksu shop in the alley between Seomyeon and Jeonpo. There is no dedicated parking, and both Naver Reservation and Tableling reservation are listed. Weekdays can be calm, but weekend and holiday lunch can bring a wait. The room is compact, with solo seats and table seating.
The signature Bujebi is a KRW 10,000 bowl built on surf-clam broth, chives, and chewy hand-torn dough. The broth leans spicy and clean like a clam soup, so it works for hangover soup, rainy-day noodles, or a straightforward Korean lunch around Seomyeon and Jeonpo. The dough has enough thickness and bounce to make the texture memorable.
Bujebi kalguksu is the noodle version of the same clam broth, while Hwangjebi uses dried pollack and radish for a clearer style. In summer, young-radish kalguksu, young-radish bibimbap, and chilled soybean sujebi appear, and the menu also includes perilla-oil bibim noodles, jjujebi, spicy chicken galbi jeon, duck galbi jeon, and pork jowl suyuk. Many reviews mention a small bean-sprout bibimbap served before the main bowl.
The soup comes very hot, and the chive flavor is strong, so diners who dislike chives may prefer another menu. The atmosphere is clean and modern-Korean, but the shop is not a spacious group-dinner room. It is better for solo meals, two-person lunches, casual Jeonpo dates, and a warm noodle stop before or after cafe-hopping.
