Lunch-only old Haeundae Chinese restaurant in Osan Village, known for jjamppong and classic tangsuyuk

About

A local Chinese restaurant in the Osan Village side of Haeundae Jung-dong, open only for lunch. There is no delivery, but takeout is possible, and ingredients can sell out before 15:00. There is no dedicated parking; Moontan Road parking can be used, but weekends are difficult, so plan transit or legal paid parking first.

The jjamppong is the main reason to go. The broth is deep and clean rather than aggressively smoky, built on seafood and vegetables, with a peppery heat that works well as a hangover lunch. The noodles are thin, chewy, and soft, a texture many regulars remember.

Gan-jjajang comes in an old Busan Chinese-room style with a fried egg on top, while the fried rice is fluffy and served with jjajang sauce and egg soup. Tangsuyuk starts from a mini size and has a crisp, moist bite with an old-style ketchup-leaning sweet-sour sauce. Fried dumplings pair naturally with the jjamppong broth.

The dining room is small, with many two-person tables, so groups of three or more can wait longer at peak lunch. Go expecting a clean old-school Chinese restaurant rather than a modern dining room. It is a strong short-lunch stop for Haeundae, Dalmaji, and Moontan Road routes.
